Default Would a ignition switch cause...

Would a ignition switch cause a p0157 code and a p0137? I took the truck to a mechanic... and he checked all fuses and etc and everything tested out fine.. but couldnt find what was causing it to throw the codes.. and he called a gm advisor and said told him its likley the ign. Switch. But idk... im tired of throwing money at it already... new pigtail.. new o2 sensors etc and still keeps on popping up 😭😭... this is my last resort!

In my 20+ years as a tech I've never seen it

I don't see how it could possibly be caused by the ignition switch.

Take it to a real shop where someone can actually diagnose the issue without throwing parts on it to see what fixes it.

Dealer can be a good place if the right tech gets a hold of it, if someone that doesn't know much gets a hold of it they will keep throwing parts at it. But a shop where someone just knows what they are doing and gives a F about their work is about the best place. Try getting references for a highly experienced tech. Or call shops and tell them someone has thrown parts at it and it didn't work and you need someone capable of actually testing the circuit wiring for hot and ground signal return etc. It's not a hard job to do, just have to find someone with enough of a brain to know how and enough give a **** to actually do it. That's the hard part.
