i would sell them if someone wanted them, i would want to know that kind of thing soon thogh cause i will most likely push this tranny and motor till they let go

Let me think about that one over the weekend and talk to the wifey poo. I just so happen to have a Jeep Wranger with a tired little 4cy engine in it. A 4.8 would do it right nicely!

Even if I didn't buy it that engine/tranny combo could bring the bling if you market it to the Jeep community. Hell, you've already got the transmission to transfer case output shaft in it!

I've allways thought there was lots of potenial in the 4.8,put in a big cam and rev that bitch to 7500 rpm's

 

let there be no mistake here, 4.8's suck!!! i dont have the cash to swap in the motor i want right now so i figured i would see what it can do. anyone got a prediction on what a 100shot will give me? how about a 125shot?

200hp wet shot.....you'd see damn close to the 12's with that and the internals should hold together just fine asn long as long as the fuel system is good

 

I will take the tranny .. I just want it for a core .. so if t's trashed .. as long as it's useable for a core I will be happy. So .. kill the tranny and sell it to me for dirt cheap! :p

Thore are really good times for that from what I've seen around. I wish I had one of those little jewels so I could see what mine would run. I know on some local roads where I have some spots marked off .. I can get to about the same mph as my old truck with the blower and convertor and all, and this one is relatively bone stock!

I can't wait for LS1Edit to be available on the 03 trucks. If I could squeze just a little mre timing out of it and change those stock shift points I could break my record with the old truck!

parish .. I was serious about the tranny. I was thinking about going to the junkyard to get a junked one out of a truck or talk to some dealerships or something about it. I just want one so I can keep my stock one to the side and send the junked one in as a core charge on a new tranny.

 

u dont need a 200shot to hit 12s. 150 and some good tires will do it
