Stew there are guys running a twin in bucket set up. Actually nonnieselman is trying to put one together right now for his......insurance for him i guess. But he is going to run the bosh 044 instead of the walbro.
sorry for the thread jack yes i am purchasing the kit from racetronix. they are the only one except lengifielter that has a complete kit that they will sell. I called mangnacharger and some dude blew me off when i asked about fuel pumps and he asked what kind of application i was using it for, i said turbo and he was like we should get some in about 3 weeks call back. wtf i was gonna order one that day haha.

I don't mind the thread jack. Any or all help is appreciated, even if it isn't necessarily for my application.

I am almost positive the connection and the application are the same! The years of the pumps don't change. Some will tell you to go with a factory style pump so that its done right, but if you need more step up. But i would just find a cheap factory replacement not some junk from a auto parts store unless you wanna drop the tank in two weeks to do another one haha

I am going with this kit from Racetronix versus the ones I had linked in the OP. Once it gets here I'll do the swap & see how it goes as my pressure is dropping fast. There is whine as well. I am assuming this pretty much rules out a fuel regulator problem.

The system for my SS will not work with the Tahoe according to Racetronix.
Please contact Lonnie's Performance listed on their web page for alternative solutions.

That was the email I received from Racetronix when I asked them if it would work.

That is similar to the response I received at 1:38am after waiting a few days.

I've looked through all the vendor sites before the webstore front and nothing for the GMT400's.

I find it hard to believe that it won't work...how different can they be? Maybe that link they gave has something better? I know the one I put in my car worked great and could not have been easier to install...except the whole drop the tank part.

I will find out when it gets here on the 11th. The only issue I could see is that the psi at startup isn't where it should be resulting in multiple priming before it fires up.

So far so good. Everything was plug & play & appears to be functioning properly. PSI is maintaining at idle & is up at partial acceleration. I haven't had an opportunity to do a WOT run yet as there are speed traps galore.
