well the idle is just fine, in fact it idles great.
Low end seems to be about the same maybe a hair better. I have only got on it once and it seemed to pull pretty good for the short time I was in it.
I have some valve train issues I need to check out tomorrow. I seem to have something tapping. I cant tell If it's a lifter, Or a rocker arm tapping. but the sound seems to come and go. and It gets loud too. like someone beating on a tin can.

Don't you have a bigger torque converter in yours? I bet that is helping a lot!

You need to get that thing back to the track once you get it straightened out and tuned up some.

Is the ticking too abnormal. I know a little valve train noise is expected with the high lift cams.

yes the ticking is abnormal. you cant hear it, and then it gets loud as hell. if you have heard my truck its pretty loud, and then to be able to hear the ticking over it, there is something wrong

yeah that thing is loud as hell if you can hear somthing tapping its gotta be loud. by the way it lobes pretty damn hard
