Do you have the actual dyno run files that you could post? Do you have the graph over RPM instead of speed? I guess i could calculate the peaks with a calculator if you could post your rear tire height. Assuming a 29.5" tall tire it looks like peak torque around 4100 rpm and peak HP at 5800 rpm but the graph doesn't go far enough to get a good picture of what happens after that. Heck it may still be going up slightly.

Yes this was on stock tires, 255/70. I should be going to the shop today to drop off a cam, I'll see if I can get an RPM graph (I want one too). I trapped 96mph on motor so it's closer to 300rwhp now.

54-408-11 XR259HR 259/265 advertised 206/212 @ .050 .515/.522 112° LSA
54-412-11 XR265HR 265/271 advertised 212/218 @ .050 .522/.529 114° LSA

The hi-lift version of the 265 that I didn't list above looks to be a disaster for a 5.3L and isn't even that great on a 5.7L-6.0L motor.

I have that book, aswell as a couple of others- but there's no mention of the 259 in there. COnsidering that the book covers mostly LS1 on up this is understandable...............

It's not quite the same cam. It's close, yes, but not the same one.

The XR259 is more of a truck cam than the XR260, but is not listed in the "truck" section on Comp's web page, which I find interesting.
