Default XR275HR on an 05 chevy??

How would this cam work for my brothers 05 silverado 5.3 RCSB
Cam Style Hydraulic roller tappet
Basic Operating RPM Range 1800 to 6800 RPM
Intake Duration 050 inch Lift 222
Exhaust Duration 050 inch Lift 224
Advertised Intake Duration 275
Advertised Exhaust Duration 277
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio 0.566
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio 0.568
Lobe Separation (degrees) 112
Intake Valve Lash (in) 0.000
Exhaust Valve Lash (in) 0.000
Grind Number LS1 XR275HR
This cam plus a 3k stall, transgo shift kit plus servos,HP tuned, 918 springs, aftermarket pushrods, pacesetter LT's & magnaflow X pipe with dual magnaflow round mufflers. How would all that work?

With a good tune, you'll see pretty big gains. I dont think you'll regret it.

I got that one and you will not be disappointed with the supported mods you listed. I gained 3 tenths and about 30-35RWHP with that cam coming from a '99 F-body cam. Since they don't dyno trucks in third gear in my area anymore I don't have exact gains but I gained I think 25RWHP in 2nd gear over my third gear dyno. Just make sure it can breathe in and out and you're good...Zed

224/228, 226/226, list goes on and on. But.... You will need a hell of a stall or low end will be lame.

You'll need a 3200+ stall or so to gain back some of that low end off the line. Even with my tr224 i almost feel like i need a bigger stall.

Who sells those cams? How about the 226/226 and the rest of the mods i mentioned?

TSP makes a 226 and they also make a new 225 that is supposed to be better than the 224
