Default Y pipe on a 6.2 Sierra Denali

I've searched this topic a couple of times and have not really found the info I'm looking for.

I'm looking at going with headers, probably Pacesetter or OBX, and I haven't really seen anybody running them on the 6.2 motors. The exhaust is larger than the 5.3 for sure and I don't know if it's bigger than the 6.0. Anyway, what y-pipe can I buy that will bolt right up without any welding or trips to the exhaust shop? I know the headers will fit but what about the y-pipes?

Thanks

it would have to be custom y-pipe for sure,
6.2 is also bigger pipe than a 6.0
dynatech makes a full header and cats kit for your truck. direct fit
pricey though
these guys too....

Yeah I looked at the American Racing Headers, Dynatechs and the Stainless Works and that's more than I want to spend on some headers. I would rather not do a custom y pipe because most exhaust shops don't have mandrel benders and the bigger pipe would end up being crushed down anyways. Might be my only choice though.

Do good headers then fab your Y pipe. Ive never looked under a denali truck but the suv's look like single 4" exhaust.

Google 3 or 4" Y pipe and see what you get. I think we got one from like berns stainless or something along those lines.

Also look in the back of car magizeens, there are a lot of exhaust places that sale special parts.

Finding the Y pips should be hard. But your still going to have to add parts to make it work because one header is a lot longer than the other one.

Here is a 4" to 3" dual. So the can probably get you the size you need. Just run them backwards. Dual 3" to a 4" out. If not get the closest one and the exhaust shop can streach the opening.
