Default Y pipe for running KOOKS 1-7/8-2" x 3.5 race headers?

I plan on running kooks f body race headers with 3.5 collectors on my 06 rcsb 4x4 383lsx and I want to know what other guys running these are doing for a y pipe? Am I better off going with ARH header and y pipe system? Thanks

I have a set of the same headers in the garage waiting to be installed. I am planning to fabricate a custom y-pipe for them. 3.5" bullet type resonators after the collectors into a 3.5" to 4" flowmaster y-collector with a Edelbrock 4" diesel catback (may swap the muffler though). I won't know how everthing will fit till I get the headers installed.

Stew went with a true dual setup... And IMO if you need these headers you're past a Y pipe if you're dead set on single exhaust go with 4" for sure... It would be easier to do a 3" dual setup and route it how you want. My setup will be these same headers, dual 3" with Spintech Pro Stock mufflers, Ill be routing them pretty symmetrically under the truck because the fuel cell will allow this

Thanks for the info, I definitely want dual instead but right now I want to get my truck running and I'll have two days to do the engine swap so at this moment I will use the stock cat back, should sound interesting with 600fwhp through the stock muffler LOL, I thought any header that fits the 2wd will fit the 4wd? Where do the kooks hit? Thanks

a 2wd TRUCK header will fit a 4wd, not a fbody header. I believe they hug closer to the motor than truck headers and that puts them directly where the front driveshaft is on trucks..
and 600fwhp?? i thought you built a 383 no??
