Default Y pipe selection tell me your thoughts??

I am getting ready to put new headers on my truck. I would like to run 3 inch pipes from my collectors to a Y pipe, then a 4 inch single after.. This is what I have come up with.. This may sound asinine, but will there be a difference in performance between this one http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG10799, this one http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...pcid=54(middle of page) I am asking based on the way each on of them merge. The flow has a nicer merge, but Im looking to keep it all stainless....

Thanks
