ok i'm new to the forum but i just had to tell yall this...

last weekend me and my friend are cruising in my 2002 4.8L single cab silverado. i'm messing with the little ricers in town that seem to think they are all 10 second cars. one of them pulls up next to me at a light and revs it up so i can hear his little coffee can exaust. i return the rev and wait for the light. the light turns green i punch it. he didn't even move. he just sat there. i figured he messed up his car or something.

then tonite i'm cruising again and we see him in the middle of an abandoned parking lot just sitting there. so we cut a u-turn and go back to talk to him. him and his friend are just sitting there. the following conversation occurs:
me: what was that sh*t last weekend?
him: what?
me: yeah at the light when you just sat there.
him: oh, hahaha, dude we had you.
me: WHAT?!
him: yeah dude we had you.
me: HOW!?
him: you thought we were gunna race but we didn't hahahaha

i just had to leave without saying anything. i have no comeback for that. i was expecting the typical "i wasn't trying" or "i have NOS i just didn't want to embarass you". i still can't belive he said that.

that reminds me of time i came up next to a black lightning and the guy says, "wanna race?"
"i got v6" not i got a v6, "i got v6"
he didnt speak good english i'm assuming.

i said, yea right dude, and he says, "i just got the emblems" so i tell him, ok i'll still race you regardless if you have a v8 or v6.
so he stops ahead of me and waits. i get about up to his passenger door and the guy floors it before i even line up next to him. what a WUSS!
i ran an old school lightning and beat it out there; ever since then, i can't get any other trucks to race me. 8(

what an idiot.

the only trucks i can get to race me around here are the little s-10s and then my friends. there's a few of them running around here with some serious stuff in them but never seem to see them at the right time. i know i'll loose to them but i'd just like to see how i stand, not to mention see them run.
