A 2001 2500HD Extended Cab, 4x4, 6.0, auto with 16x8 wheels, 285/75/16 tires and a 1/2 tank of gas. Weighs in at 6020. So put stock tires on it will weigh in at 5800 +/-.

If I remember correctly, mine weighed in around 6000 lbs. That's x-cab, 4x4, aftermarket wheels/tires, etc. Stock, if I remember correctly, the best it ran was a 16.5 at 85 or 86 mph. With the bolt on's, I dropped that down to 15.73 at 88.9 mph. I haven't run it since adding the Arizona Speed and Marine headers though.
I would like to try the Yank 2600HD thruster converter, but I'm a little soured with them. I actually was going to put one in a year ago, and I was dealing directly with Yank. I tried ordering it in August, prior to a truck pull. Mike (Yank) kept telling me to check back with them, as they were waiting on one little part for them. That was back when there was a special on them and I could've gotten one for approx. $560. I kept checking back with them, and it was the same story every time, even three months later. I finally left it with them that they were going to call me when they got the parts they needed. I never did get a call from them. When I noticed that they had raised the price to $895, I contacted them, and explained my situation, but they could've cared less. So, while I would like to try one of their converters, I'm hesitant to spend $895 for what I should have been able to get for $560.

way I look at it your only gonna buy a converter once so if its a $500 dollar difference that won't mean anything years later after you have run the truck thousands of times. Like the AZSM headers for $750 bucks yeah they are cool but you probley could have bought the flanges tubing 02 bung for next to nothing. The point of business is to charge the highest rate possible without loosing your captive audience. Which I think is dumb but what do I know about business.
