How do you like the stall with the charger? I spoke with a local shop and they used the factory stall for the charger. I feel like I noticed a loss in low end torque and hp. I haven't done a cam yet, but I'm thinking factory 1700 stall and a cam pulling 1800-6300 rpm's. What do you think?

Factory stall is no good for performance. You should not have felt any loss in power except at part throttle and that is simply due to the converter slipping until it locks up at whatever stall you have.

I love my hughes 3000 stall. Could not be happier. Took some getting used too, and I would never go back to stock.

How high does it stall for you? How about transmission temps?

When mine was first installed, it was low on fluid. It got hot quicker and stalled extra high (above 3000 NA). It felt super loose. After adding a couple quarts of fluid, it tightened up, felt almost like normal, and drove much better. Trans temps never get hot anymore. This is with the same TT2600 converter.

Thanks for the tip. I noticed temps up about 20-30 degrees since the install. I'll check fluid level in the morning. I ate a mustang GT this evening on the interstate. That felt good! I just built the trans, installed the stall and a Nelson tune. Everything else is factory!

What ever happened - did you end up keeping it?
