Default Yank TT3000

Hey guys, I'll be installing a Yank TT3000 in a 01 silvy with 5.3 most likely this weekend. Already have B&M cooler for it. I plan on picking up a vette servo piston and housing along with the o-rings at the dealer tomorrow. What's your thoughts on installing a Trans Go, and should i choose to do this, would it be easier to do it with the tranny out during the converter install. I dont know if i can get my hands on a TransGo before Sat. so i might have to postpone everything.

Thanks

Where are you located? I've got a Transgo 4L60E kit, complete with Vette servo and aluminum accumulator (recommended replacement) that I would let go for what I paid for it. Let me know if you're interested, perhaps we could work something out and get it out to you.

I did my TT2600, transgo, vette servo and billet OD servo together with the trans out on the garage floor. i dont think i'd do it that way again though. I think i got lucky that everything went together as planned. If something went wrong, I'd have no way to tell if it were the TC or the shift kit. Also, with the tranny on its back, the checkballs fell into the tranny, not down onto the floor. I was able to retrieve all of them - I got lucky there too. If you do decide to do the shift kit with the tranny out, turn the tranny with the pan side down before you remove the value body.
