Default which year head studs?

might seem like a dumb question here, but which type of head studs do i need... pre 2004 or 2004 and later. my truck is a 2004, but obviously it was manufactured in 2003, so i'm kinda confused.

You have to check on the block . There should be a round stamp with two digits for great and a clock style circle that will specify month . This is actually moped in the block right below the head deck on the block passenger side
