your thoughts on the fast 92mm intakes
#32
so i found a dyno graph of a heads cam 5.3 going from a truck intake manifold to a stock fast 92mm. it picked up 34 hp!!!!!!!! it went from
441hp to 475hp (fly wheel horsepower)
impressive right? im thinking not. i did a little math and averaged the HP between 3000 rpm and 6400 rpm.
the results:
truck intake:
avg HP across band = 351.94
avg tq across band = 388.87
fast 92mm
avg HP across band = 347
avg TQ across band = 386.75
so in average you actually lose 4hp and only gain 2tq.
here is the article to read for yourself.

i know i have more cubes but it as of right now the fast 92 just looks like it gains you peak numbers at the loss of bottom end. a combination that probably works awesome on a light *** camaro. im atleast 1000 lbs heavier than your avg camaro and i need that down low torque! not huge top end torque and HP. im still looking for more information if anyone has any

I am not sure if the SSR intake is teh exact same as teh NNBS intake... I thought the SSR intake was a normal truck intake with a 90mm opening... I maybe wrong thou...
