I am not sure either, the internetz are serious business. Settle down folks, it will be ok. This thread started off good but is now going down hill, lets get back to the original question.

just trying to help the original poster.....no way an lq9 will hold 1000hp reliably in that setup. the guy will build that setup and have all kinds of hg issues because someone online said it could be done, and the person stating it can be done, hasnt even done it himself. this happens all the time online

i dont care if im talking to a rocket scienticist either, building a motor and setting up a car is not rocket science. no one on this site is going to do anything that anyone else hasnt done, also you cant figure hp by 1/8 mile time. so the 1000rwhp is a pipe dream.

a turbo Single car short bed with 15 inch rims is way more forgiving then a denali on 22s with awd and a roots blower.

You don't need to explain that to me, I have a 5800lb Denali without me in it and a roots blower. I wasn't debating that I was referancing stock48's setup and power level. I am pretty aware what it takes to get a heavy bitch moving.

he is runing the stock 16" alum sierra wheels with slicks.. and high 1.3 60' low 1.4s, 9.7@139?
head gaskets, studs. baby cam. lots of boost and lots of methanol.. got to be 1000 or better, and drives it from CO to CA

why cant people justs get along.. if atomic isnt at 1000 he is pretty close.

i m not trying to start an arguement, but you either are or you aint.and if you dont make 1000rwhp then dont say you do. period. you can plot all the ggraphs you want but no where can you calculate 1/8mile mph in hp.

5000lbs
108mph 1/8, might be 130 in the quarter
rough estimate, 900hp at the fly, not 1000rwhp, about 300hp short

Well, I beg to differ. That's what I live for...breaking the mold. Better quit calling bullshit until you do some reading and see what we've accomplished around here. You just make yourself look bad, not the rest of us.
