Yukon Denali 1000hp
#62
1000rwhp?? nice, im not saying it cant be done, i did it too before my lsx block. but in a denali that heavy, the heads will lift. like i said it has to do with the weight of the vehicle and the type of blower. that roots blower torque will block those HG's for sure, turbo would be way easier
its up to the builder, customer comes to me and says they want 1000rwhp denali with a lq9....
...I say it wont be done here. a personal build and a build for a customer are way different.

If you want to call it like that.. what dyno you wanna use? theres quite a big difference between them all. so your 1000hp might have only been 925.. big difference..

925 flywheel and 1000 RWHP is about a 300hp difference

all on chasis dyno.. dont matter what the drivetrain loss is, 1000rwhp
if you went from say a mustang dyno at 1000rwhp, your prolly gonna see 875rwhp on a dyno dynamics with the same air..
So dyno numbers mean nothing if you think about it.. now if you played on the same dyno and say you went with a bigger turbo and went from 750rwhp to 850rwhp, then thats a legit number.

Cjg, you've got one chance to chill out and spend your time reading up on what guys have done on this site or you're going away. You're insulting a lot of very smart guys who have done exactly what this guy is talking about doing. While a big blower does make more low end boost than a comparable turbo setup, there are guys making more power than 1000 and push more cylinder pressure(tq) down low. People have done a lot more than you know about on this site and to come in here all cocky like you did because you couldn't do what many have done on here with success. Calm down, do some research and give these guys the respect that is due.
