If you dont want to lose any low end I wouldnt go any more as far as duration is concerned then the 212/218. But it all depends on what your goals are, what stall you are going with, any other mods in the future, etc.

for the money you'll spend on a cam and everything you'll get more gains from a converter. Parish well listed the best bang for buck mods as 1) 6.0 swap 2) nitrous 3) converter
I was about to do the same thing you are (run biggish cam with stock stall) until I realized how stupid that was.
