Most people opt for the newer version. I love my 212/218 lowlift. Almost doesnt have a chop... There are cheap packages like mentioned before. I bought my LS6 Cam and springs for 225 shipped. I kept the springs and went with the bigger cam.

Yeah that is what it sounds like with open headers...lol

TC not required on either LS6 cam or the 212/218. Springs yes on either. I reused my PR's no problems yet. I will probably upgrade to Hardened PR's down the road. you can reuse your PR's on an LS6 cam but you will lose some lift as the LS6 cam has a smaller base circle and longer valves to make up the difference.
