What kind of power gains will you get with the z06 cam in the 6.0 engine?

If you do use this cam, I'd advance it 4* when installing. I remember it has like 2* retard built it so this would give you a 2* advance total.

That'd probably help get the powerband back down a bunch too.

Oh maybe 20rwhp? Depends on if ya got headers, correct springs, etc

with some headwork it should give you good numbers.


Also i think the cam has 2* advance ground into it not retard

I could swear it is 2* retarded as the cam pulls to 6500rpms at a 204 intake dur. Retarding the cam raises the power band, advancing brings it down

I'm pretty sure that both LS6 cams are retarded 2 degrees.

Install an adjustable timing chain to advance the cam. Rollermaster chains allow you to advance or retard in 2 degree increments, while most other chains go are in 4 degree increments.
