so i'm a noob when it comes to cams. i know the first 2 numbers are intake/exhaust duration, the middle numbers are intake/exhaust lift, and the last number has something to do with timing (i think). can someone explain (or show me where to find) what these numbers mean as far as how they affect performance

ok thanks guys i heard a 224/224 cam in an 5.7 pretty tame how would this cam like a 5.3? ive seen a few guys with it in these trucks but for performace what do you think about that cam only?

you actually do pick up 50 hp someone did a dyno with one...
without a tune and then he gained another 6 hp from the tune afterwards...
i gained alot with mine... with just a programmer and it was funny cause i could tell everyone that i was stock...lol
