it's the same exact thing Will, as long as you already have a v8 in your silverado it's just a different material and depending on if you have a 4.8 or 5.3 it's a different bore/stroke combo.

nothing...just pull your other motor out, put all the accessories on it, heads, cam, intake manifold, injectors etc and drop it in.

what did this motor come out of? do you have contact info on who you bought it from for a background and i'd give 650 if it all checks out and is in good condition.

came out of a 2000 Z28 Camaro / 27,000 miles on it
I bought it from a friend of a friend. I took the pistons out and checked the insides in and out and everything looks good. I had the full intention of putting it in my truck, only reason why I am selling it is because I'm not going to do a motor swap afterall. My current motor only has 3,200 miles on it.
