well i answered my own question by calling diablo. they said that when i send my 03 version predator in they will still update it to the new software for free. i asked them when i get me programmer back will i have to put the vin# in and set it up like it was new? he said yes, so i am basically getting a new version tuner that i can sell because it dont have any of my truck info in it. i will be getting a custom tune most likely

I was involved in the testing phase ... The DiabloSport entity is effectively broken into three divisions which include PDQ a marketing group, Diablsport a Software Tuner Developer, and Programma the software / Hardware development team. They all are located in South Beach and Boca Raton Florida. Due to this they have little experience with our crappy gas and I often times do cooperative development testing for 50 state vehicles.

I have had a non-production Predator for some time for 99-01 trucks and it does not mate to the VIN but it is NOT a software program I can extract or update.
