2008 6.0l ls2
For Sale out of a 2008 Trailblazer SS with about 25k miles. Friend took his truck to a GM dealer to get it checked out and they started to repair it. GM rep came in and denied and canceled his powertrain warranty for having a tune. Was gonna build it back up and sell it for more but I need the cash.
#7 piston broke and damaged the cylinder head but not the block. They gave him a new piston and rod tho. We took the cylinder heads to a machine shop to get them repaired a bit without having to put too much money into them. The nicks were all smoothed out, heads milled .005", and 2 valves were replaced. I would get the nicks welded in and then machined smooth tho. The block is in great condition. All that is needed to put the engine back together is a crank, gaskets, bolts, bearings, etc.
6.0L LS2 bare block w/main caps and bolts, and new set of std. aluminum main bearings - $850
Stock pistons w/rods and bolts - $300
243 LS2 heads assembled - $300
Stock LS2 Camshaft 204/211 .524/.524 116 LSA - $75
Stock LS2 Oil Pump - $50
Stock LS2 Timing Chain - $20
Stock LS2 Pushrods - $10
$1,550 FIRM for everything listed above, buyer pays shipping

Man that sucks they wouldnt fix it but just a little advice from a GM tech, they require us to snapshot the calibration to see if they match the factory ones with any internal engine repair. Good luck with the sale.
