2 Motors For sale
First the stock one:
This is the original motor that was in my 2001 1500 hd. I pulled it out after building the motor I am currently running. My intention was to keep it as a spare in case of a major failure.
I am now building a Stroker motor and will keep the current motor as a spare, unless someone wants it instead.
The stock motor is EXACTLY that. It had 27,8?? miles on it when I removed it. I want $2,000 for it.
The other motor is a 6.0 bored .030 over with Diamond forged pistons a comp cam, ported heads by PWS & I will sell it with a BBK 80 mm throttle body, Gibson Shortie headers, and a Custom tune Computer.
This motor was just completely freshened up- Brand new stock crank, Brand new stock rods, Brand new Comp Cam, Brand new lifters, Cometic Head Gaskets, Total Seal Rings, & All new bearings. This motor right now has 0 miles since rebuild.
I just had a lifter collapse on it it that bottomed out on my cam, when it happened I was towing my bass boat on the way to a tournamnet 500 miles away. I made one of those bad judgment calls, knowing I had a collapsed lifter, I finished driving to the tournament and then towed all the way home. Result was the lifter bottoming out on the cam to the point that it chipped the hard facing of the cam and lifter. The crank was slightly scored and could be turned however I like to squeeze the bottle and wanted standard / standard.
This motor is Identical to what it was prior to this rebuild. This is the motor that I run 12's in my Crew Cab HD. Anyway this motor will be installed back into my truck on Tuesday if I dont sell it. It is available for COMPLETE inspection. I use this as a daily driver and I comute 110 miles a day. Anyway I want $5,000 for this motor with a stock 6.0 manifold the BBK throttle body, Gibson shorties, and my custom tune computer. And if youre in the California area could probably work out a killer deal on installation.
AND if your skeptical on its performance I will run it down the track for you, installed in my truck and prove the 12 second et

No offense .. but 2k for a stock lq4 is a bit high ... There is a junk yard around here selling one for 850. That's a good price, I'd expect to pay something around that anywhere else though.

$850 is a good price. Aluminum or Iron heads? How many miles? Its not worth it to me to get rid of it for $850. This is a low miler that runs perfect. 2G's may be a little high but 850 is a little low. Thanks for your .02 though. Take care
