Brand new 20" Nitto 420S Tires
#12
I have the same tires, it is clearly marked outside/inside. The tread doesnt matter which direction its going, you are right about one going one way and the other side going the other way. They just want the large groove to the inside for some reason, water channeling maybe. At first I was a little worried the tread would look funny going the opposite way on each side of the truck, but it really blends well and unless you know to look for it, you wont notice the driver side is going a different direction than the pass side. They are some good tires, they are showing little wear and stick like crazy to the road, rain or shine.

I had them on my old truck and had no problems. Very good traction in the rain. As far as the tread pattern, It shouldn't hurt anything to turn them red in. Or it's nothing a little flat black rattle can can't fix. Bump for some bad *** tires and a good deal!!
