Cam/Springs/Pushrods kit and NEW AEM Longtube Headers Canada
#13
As I previously stated I don't know. I bought the cam kit used with those specs off this forum. It is sitting in my 5.3 I recently swapped and I will pull it if I have a buyer. If not I'll just sell the whole engine for the same price. I have no need for it. It is at my mechanics and I have no room to store it(let alone move it!) and he has no room for the engine as well. He'd like it gone!

Yes it is a RCSB. I should add that I have a Circle-D 3000 stall. But still it was through manifolds, no shift kit, 3.73 gears with 20in mags. No spare no tailgate, but other than that I track it the same way I do on the street to have a good feel for how it will run and to learn how to run it. My goal last year was a 13.99 but I learned that it takes, time money and skill when you set high goals. I started out at a 15.7.
BTW I am no longer selling the parts as I am going to use them in a carbed car project.

so u gotta be 1000lbs lighter then me? more?... i ran 16.3 in bad july air last year (no tailgate, no spare, iced intake, 18psi rear tires) before i did anything to the truck, so im guessing thats pretty good compared to your stock time, im .6 away from you ... how bad is a 3k stall to drive everyday, i really dont want to change out the converter to keep it easy on the drivetrain and to maintain driveabilty, but it seems like its going to be absolutely ness for me to reach my goal of 14s unfortunately

The Circle-D is practically imperceptible. Honestly you barely even notice it driving daily although it is working down there. The biggest time I could tell is when I was trying to climb over a curb half a foot high, then it takes a little extra pedal to get up and over. You have to sacrifice a little somewhere to gain elsewhere and it was a great investment. Do it!!!!
BTW since I sold my headers I might as well relist my cam but this time it is $100 more but comes installed in an 85K mile 5.3 engine that ran great, no oil consumption, no leaks (unlike my new 6.0). I am located in Quebec 20 min from Newport, VT so anyone in ME,NH,VT,NY this could be worth the drive if interested!
