Default Eaton/Detroit EZ Locker GM 8.5

This differential is brand new and in the factory box. I bought it several years ago for a 5.3 swapped OBS truck but have neglected to install it. This is a very easy and inexpensive way to get a quality locking differential under your truck. I'm looking for $275 shipped OBO, paypal only (read post 12!). Pictures in post 2

These types of lockers have been called many things over the years: E-Z Locker, Trac lock, Lock Rite, and Powertrax is a popular one right now.

No this type of locker is commonly called a "lunch box locker" because it goes inside your factory differential housing in place of your spider gears. It would be important to note that I THINK you would need an open differential housing in order to install this as I do not believe it would work with a g80 housing.

In contrast a TruTrac replaces the facotry differential housing completely.

Correct on both accounts.

Thanks for posting that. I should have clarified that it fits only the open diff.
