I dont have any leads on a LQ9 shortblock but I believe I can get ahold of a LQ9 Longblock if you are interested.. Has around 50,xxx miles. Motor is in good shape. Let me know, if so Ill check into it. I cant guarentee until I check to see if he still has it.

No problem. I wasnt trying to be a smartass with my initial post just felt it was a good question seeing as though you expressed the same concern. If you need anything else let me know I can get the trans and Transfer case too.

no problem, perfectly understandable. im all set on the trans for now, and im 2wd. im gonna get the short block, check it out, l76 setup from scoggin dickey, heads and cam from richard at wcch, and all the misc stuff from wherever. bolt on the longtubes and stick that thing in there with a nelson tune.

do us all a favor and buy a block and crank and put new pistons and rods in it

cause i dont wanna see the post that says i found a rod in my oil pan
