I run a 4awg wire from the charging post, directly to the battery with a 250 amp ANL fuse about in the middle of the wire. I bypassed the fuseable link altogether.
Yes, powdercoating will creat a bit more heat but being overdriven, the air movement at idle keeps her fairly cool.
My belt was custom as i did many modification that are not found on a "stock" accessory drive (underdrive crank, C5 Vette idler pulley, idler relocation etc...)
