FS/FT:Century built 2004r,billet fwd drum
I have a Century built 2004r for sale or trade. This is a hipo Grand National BRF core that will have a WOT upshift of 5800-6000.The 2004r will bolt behind any Buick,Olds,Pontiac,or Chevrolet engine, including Ls1's and 4.8/5.3/6.0's.
Heres a short run down on Century's Stage 1 transmissions for $1895:
http://centurytransmission.com/cart/...products_id=14
This trans was over $3000 from Century and has the $500+ PTS billet shafted fwd drum along with a larger servo.Mike Kurtz has said this trans will hold up in a full weight(3800+) mid to low 10 second Grand National/F body/LS1 powered truck.I beleive Century offers a flat rate rebuild fee for life, ask them for details.Build can be verified by the Century tag w/ serial #.I do not have a converter and its setup for a lock up converter.Trans shifts very firm at WOT without tire barking shifts at low throttle, just what u want in somthing that gets driven.Trans has less than 5000 street miles and 5-6 hi 6 second 1/8 miles times.Only reason for removal was a total change in the cars combo and while the 2004r is a great od trans that can take alot, its kinda hard to push them to low 6's/hi 5's in the 1/8 mile in a full weight car.Others have done it but my luck isnt that good so.....
Looking to trade for the following parts that will be going on a 2005 6.0 Escalade:
LS6 or FAST intake
NEW performance camshaft w/ matching springs(what ya got)
NEW z06 oil pump
2600 multi disk PI Vigalante for 4l65e
l92 heads
l76 intake
CNC lq9 heads
set of 8 42# or #50 low mile/new injectors(drop in only, prefer not to do any cutting)
or ???????
Looking for $1200 outright, figure another $75-$100 on shipping via Fed Ex.Stock BRF cores go for $500-$700 all day long so I think this is a great deal considering the aftermarket parts and being built by one of the best builders in the business!
This will only work with 2wd cars/trucks as the 2004r was never used in a 4wd configuration so no tail housings to hook up a transfer case.
Will take trade + cash. Also would be willing to put cash with the right deal.I am in Birmingham,AL.Thanks.
