they have changed a lil they now have the gen 2 and the servo tightens the 1-2 upshift to make it perform better

make the tranny last longer or is it harder on it? how hard to install?

I dont think it increase or decrease the life of the tranny.

20min you only need three tools...

super easy u need a screwdriver and some body weight and beleive it or not it lengthens transmisison life.

the softer a shift feels and the more slip it has the more its wearing itself out.

yes there is such thing as shifting "too" hard that will mess things up but u wont acheive that with this servo. Have one in my 4l60-e and my 700r4 and 2nd gear scratches well with the accumulator gone as well!!!
