looking for a good "starter" cam for my yukon xl. how would this do in it. doing lt's true duals efans vette servo 2/3drop 4.10's front and rear soon after new year.

It should do just fine plus you can run this and retain your stock converter. It is nothing wild, but you will def be able to tell a difference. Also if you ever plan to go for a blower or turbo, you wouldn't have to change cams, this will work well for that also

hum... i plan on a converter eventualy and more trans work. dont want to give up too much towing ability since ill be pulling a car trailer with it with one of my thirdgens

No a stall will help if you decide to get one that is a higher stall speed, but you won't have the surgin issues with this like you might with a cam of a higher duration and tighter lsa on a stock stall..
