Fs tr ls2 cheatr cam/ yank ss3800 or trade for 4l80e swap parts
cam soldCam is 215 230 117 (629 595 Lift) has 10k miles on it no wear. Truck ran 12.96 with this cam after switching to 232 236 113+2 I ran 13.11. I'd like to swap this cam back in but don't have the cash to pay someone to do it again.-200 bucks

You have a welder and chop saw or sawzaw? Modify your stock x member thats what I did. And as far as the harness you wont need. Just repin the stock trans harness plug in (pull apart and swap two wires) and just find you a vss connector to run to the extra vss plug the 80e will have.

Here's what you will need for the vss plug in on the 80e. Splice in some wire into this and run them to the pcm and pin them in #22 & #23

I would really like to learn how I wouldn't mind doing one on someone elses truck/ car just to learn! I am going to focus on my trans first but I'm really going to think hard about putting that old cam back in!

Let me know when you want to do it and we'll figure out a time. Like said it doesnt take very long, and since you dont have to do spring swap it isnt bad at all! No need to pay someone 200$ for just a couple hours of work. Grab a gasket kit, and some coolant and we'll swap that cam out sooner than later!
