hmm.... could you tell you had a stall in it just normal driving?

Most definitely. Took more throttle to climb a hill from a dead stop etc. and the response was definitely improved. The first time my wife drove the truck after I installed it she even commented that "you have to press the gas harder to make it move, but when it does move it takes off faster" lol. OF course this is a smaller stall, I can only imagine how much fun the guys with the 3400's etc. have. But I think those are more for tracked vehicles, and not as friendly for daily driving. I'm planning to use a 3000-3200 with my new setup as soon as I sell this and get the money.

One thing is it will hurt your mpg around town some...1-2mpg in city. On the highway I still got the same mileage as far as I could tell, unless there were a lot of steep hills or something.

I was routinely able to tow and gain better response and takeoff, but the stall didn't overheat the trans fluid like some of the bigger ones will do. In fact I very rarely even got to 200 degrees trans temp. when towing.
