***SOLD*** FS: Whipple W140AX upgrade for Vortec 350 kit
I have available as a complete unit the Whipple W140AX (2300cc) supercharger I used with the intercooled 383.
This is being sold because none of it will work with the 454 I have now.
This complete assembly includes:
- Whipple W140AX compressor (used for 8 months)
- Modified 5.7L Vortec kit discharge bracket
- AR-to-AX billet aluminum adapter plate
- Modified Whipple intake elbow from 1st-gen 5.3 kit
- BBK 80MM Throttle Body with TPS and IAC
- Whipple bypass valve and plumbing
- GM Throttle and Cruise cable adapter (custom)
Important!
- In order to replace your 1600AR compressor on your L31 Whipple kit with this one you must have hydroboost. This compressor will not clear the stock vacuum brake booster.
- The discharge adapter has been modified to a 3" pipe pointing straight up. This will not connect to the stock Whipple elbow for the L31. It would be possible to swap the compressor over to your existing unmodified discharge bracket but you will have to fabricate a bypass for it. I've looked that over and it would not be difficult.
- You will need to fabricate a custom cold-air intake for this.
- The master cylinder reservoir interferes. I will included the copper elbows and o-rings (not pictured) to resolve that.
The asking price for this unit complete is $2200 plus shipping. That's $1000 less than what I've got into it.
This will be shipped via Fed-Ex from 92879 (business) or local pickup.
I can accept payment with Paypal.
I haven't figured out yet how best to safely ship this. I will make sure it arrives safely.
(I do not want to break this down right now, I think it has value as a complete assembly. I will consider breaking it down if still unsold on May 1, 2009)
