Have a set of brand new never even installed H.I.D's. I bought them for my wife and never installed them. They will fit any GM truck that requires a 9006 bulb. This is a set of two. HID Systems and the color temperature is 10,000K. I can get any color temperature but these are 10,000K.

10K is the bluest you can go without going purple.. You'll probably want more of a 6K bulb.

Yes, you will want the 6000K. The 10000K are really blue. The higher up you go past 6000K, the more blue then purple they get.

 

6-8000k seem to be the most popular, price seems to be high though

I just looekd at some ebay ones with 2 year warranty and free replacement for about 80 bucks, but anyways I would be interested anyway but I already got a set coming for my lows
