Intermediate Steering Shafts
Is your truck knocking or thumnping in the steering wheel? If it is I have the cure...I have a Intermediate Steering Shafts for the 1999 to 2006 Trucks for sale.
The GM part # is 19153614 and they retail at about $97.00
I have several for sale "new in box" for $50.00 each.

Yes it's the rattling sound in the steering column...and you can replace one in about 30 minutes. Some people are faster at it because they do it so much. And this is the re-designed shaft hence the hew part #.

Do you know if the shaft on the re-designed one is smaller in diameter than the old one?? I have the Thorley Tri-y's and I had to beat the primary tube in to clear the shaft, but I can still feel it hit sometimes. I think this might solve that problem also.

i remember when i worked at the dealership. we had a grand prix that kept coming in for the intermediate shaft rattle time after time and we found a cadillac intermediate shaft that fit perfectly. the caddy shaft had a rag joint like the older model trucks had at one time. never had to lube the intermediate shaft again on that one.
