looking for the key ignition cylinder with matching key door cylinders
for a 2000, i bought a truck but the only key it has was made by a locksmith so i have lots of trouble turning it on.. looking for the key ignition cylinder (with key ofcourse) and matching door key cylinders. thanks

Take your proof of ownership(registration or title)and your photo ID to your local GM dealership. They will be able to cut you a brand new key from the key code. It will work perfectly in all of your lock cylinders unless they have been changed, or something is wrong with one of them.

Fairly certain I can fix u up man. I'll have to sort through some handles, but I should have a set & matching ignition. BTW, poor locksmithing....my father-in-law is a locksmith & he can duplicate a GM truck key with only having looked at it!

Find another dealer, my dealer has never charged me to do it, only the $4 or $5 they get for a key. Until GM clamped down on proof of ownership, I use to take yard VIN's in when I got a column out of a vehicle, that didn't have a key.
I bet they charge $50 to get you the unlock code for the radio, too, even though GM doesn't charge them
