Default LS1 engine; ported 243s; flywheels, and more!

I'm selling a lot of my parts I have sitting around so I can feed my 408's need for air. All parts are listed without shipping included. You KNOW you need these for your truck. If nobody buys, eventually the LS1 will go into my 5.3L Sierra. But until then I need the money now.


$2,000 (make an offer) Stock 2000 LS1, 55,000 miles. All stock. Heads, cam, valve covers, front, rear, valley covers, intake included.

$1,000 (make an offer) CNC ported heads. Livernois stage 2 243's. Flow over 300cfm. Already milled .030" so they have 59cc chambers. Approximately 8,000 miles on these.

$100 Head Gaskets - Fel-Pro 1041. .041" thick installed but never ran. Paid $140 new. For use on a 4.030-4.130 bore. Cheap replacement for Cometic!

$100 Clevite bearings - Main and rod bearings for stock or aftermarket LS1 crank. Clevite H bearings. Paid $163 new. Ran 10 minutes, then motor was pulled back apart because the barbell plug was left out of the back of the engine. No damage was done!

$80 Lifters - Stock used LQ4 lifters.

$50 Stock LQ4 camshaft from 1999 LQ4.

$50 Stock LS1/2 Flexplate Stock 2004 model flexplate. Fits LS1 or LS2. Used approximately 1k miles. Nothing wrong with it.

$60 Stock LS1 Flywheel from 2000 model car. Nothing wrong with it.

$150 Stock 1999 LQ4 rods + pistons. Pistons are still on the rods with stock rings. Nothing wrong with them.

$100 Wiring harness Pigtail to allow the 4L60e harness to plug into a 4L80e tranny. Sells for over $160 from vendors.

what springs on the heads and what cam for 8k miles?

For the full price of $1000, I'll include the PRC gold duals that are on them. Any bargaining down and I'm keeping the springs, of course. 99.9% of people who buy heads put new springs on anyway to be safe. It would be silly not to. Cam used was a G5X3. 234/242 .600/.610

Oh and trades gladly accepted. I will sell just the shortblock if needed, or whatever needed. I could use a FAST 90/90 as a trade for my shortblock. Just make offers and I'll gladly consider them.

how much for the heads without springs? any idea the compression on a 4.8L?

Take 'em now, $850 + shipping without springs.
No idea what it'll do on a 4.8L. I know nothing about them. You'll have to do the math yourself, man.
