Default as&m headers brand new

Just curious, whats the reason your selling them? Just by looking at the pic, they kinda look like "long tubes" instead of just headers, btw I am still very interested, just lookin to see if I can afford them. I have a 6.0l (408 ci) being built for my 2000 silv. and these would work great

Well the reason I am selling them is becuase I have had a change of plans. My original plan included these headers to bolt on with my whipple. But I got hands on a turbo kit (see sig) that comes with the appropriate headers. So there is absoultely nothing wrong with them, and they are pretty much hands down the best headers you can buy for these trucks. Oh yes, they ARE INDEED long tubes. Ready to ship!

According to there (as&m) website, "there is some welding involved" what do they mean by this. do you have the gaskets, bolts, etc... for them?

The welding invloved is where these headers bolt to the exhaust system. Because these are "long tube" headers, the flange from the exhaust system must be cut off and weld back a few inches. An exhaust shop could do it for you for pretty cheap I am sure. Hope that made sense. I believe the stock gaskets and bolts may be re-used. I will look to see if there are any in the box.
