Default Magnacharger Fuel Pump Voltage booster for sale

This voltage booster was used a very short time and removed in favor of a swap to larger injectors. If you are trying to stretch some 43's or a smaller injector this will get you where you want to be. If you refer to my posts you will see that this item does give good results.

I had this unit mounted on the back of my underhood fuse box and everything fit very well. The turn on pressure sensor is not pictured but is included. I've labelled the wires and included a fresh copy of the install instruction. Those instructions are from Magnacharger's website.

I'm looking for $200 shipped.

Here is some applicable data from my previous experience...

I ran back to back runs with both wideband and HP Tuners logging. Here’s what I found…

WITHOUT the voltage booster I saw the following-

1st gear- AFR: 11.0 - 12.6
2nd gear- AFR: 11.0 - 12.7

WITH the voltage booster I saw this-

1st gear- 10.9 - 12.1 AFR
2nd gear- 11.0 - 12.1 AFR

The voltage booster was good for half a point of AFR on the 43's for me. It works well, but I wanted more so I went to bigger injectors.

My loss is your gain.

would/could you use that along with an inline fuel pump? Would that be overkill?

DanaliHD,

You can use this with an in-tank or in-line fuel pump. It basically overdrives the pump at 3 psi boost and above to provide some extra fuel flow. At less than 3 psi it is inactive. It is kind of nice that way in that way because it doesn't run when you don't need it.

It's not overkill if you need it. I think it could provide a nice safety margin for a guy that is seeing his AFR creeping lean. I tend to think it is perfect for a guy with a 2003 or earlier because it will allow him to keep his 43lb injectors longer (to a higher power level).
