Danny do you think that a 2800 stall would do the job with 35" tires and this cam?

man i dunno...i'm not really one to ask. we ran a cam very similar to this is my last 5.3 with a stock converter and lost 0 lowend...the 2800 prolly isn't going to be the best for the track but it will definitely get your jollys...my opinion anyways

Well Dan, still no one has paid, all interested, sending PM's and what not, but no sales, so it's all yours if you want it!

Let me go home and do some research because I have been thinking about this cam in a LS1 I have with my TEA stage 1.5 heads and put it in my Camaro. Let me see if someone gets my other cam. I will let you know by tonight. Unless Dan really wants it, I am curious to see how it would work in an LS1 with my setup in my Camaro.

Well, I posted a video of this same cam in a c5 z06 so it'd be nearly identical to your configuration. Hell of a cam without being too rough on the valvetrain. I'll post up if it sells first.

As I watched that video it seems like the tune is all wrong on that car, it doesn't seem to lope as much as just plain not idle. Sounds good though

FWIW, I wish my TR224 had some more topend in my LQ4. I think it would do alright. You could always gear lower or change to a higher stall down the road.
