I had Z06 cam, cai, and gibson shortys and cat back on the 5.3. I removed the cats and put the heads on at the same time. The heads were ported w/ stock valves and a valve job. The dyno showed 27 rwhp gain. 22 sounds more realistic and the dynos were months apart. I quit using dynos a long time ago when I got a wide band and I gage hp by how quick I can get down the track.
The heads need a cam to be effective, the cai and lt's you have help as well. The cam I'm selling is a good nitrous cam for a small motor. You should consider a different cam if you want to run n/a. My 5.3 would usually run 8.80's to 8.90's on motor and 7.60's on a 100 shot.
Hard to say what it will do on your 4.8. My 5.3 short block is for sale also.
