Default Ridetech Coilovers 6.3"

You know the old saying measure twice cut once? Apparently I never took that to heart.

I was confident I needed the 6.3" coilover shock from Ridetech. Turns out I was off by a pretty significant amount.

I bought these literally last Tuesday from a guy on craigslist up in TN. He also made the same mistake. Ended up being the wrong length. He installed them, lowered the rear end and realized his desired ride height was too far away from the shocks center.

He didn't even actually drive the car, but since they had visibly been installed, Ridetech wouldn't take them back. And I didn't even attempt to install them. UPS dropped them off today and now I am selling them.

SO, our mistake is your gain. You can see these were purchased 3 months ago and he paid $670.

What you get:

2 x Part #: 24169901

Coil-Overs :: Coilover Shock - 6.3" Stroke - HQ Series - RideTech.com - Suspension Specialist - Online Store

2 x Part #: 59140150

Coil-Overs :: Coilover Coil Spring - 2.5" ID / 14" free length - RideTech.com - Suspension Specialist - Online Store

1 x Spanner Wrench

$500.

Not looking to make any money, just want to get back what I paid a week ago lol.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I was looking for a "levelled" set up with my front end effectively lifted 2.5".

I was aiming for a ride height of 15.25". I realized that was way too far out the stock control arms ability to align. So I pivoted. I then wanted a "stock" ride height and would just use a lift spindle to accomplish the lift.

The problem with that is the shock is not the correct length for stock side height.

So I just decided to scrap the entire coilover idea and just use spindles.

Bump it up. These are practically brand new! These will work for those with Strong Arms desiring 4-5" of drop.

Where are you from? What is the ride height for those shocks and what is the spring weight?

San Antonio. The springs will be useless for a truck application - they are 150 #. Ideal ride height is 40-50% compressed of any shock...which puts these at ~15.78".
