Did you have it re-stalled within those 6 months? P.I. gives you one free restall within a 2 year period, so that "warranty" would still be good for another year and a half.
Make sure you get whatever documentation needed to get that free restall...I recommend 3200
btw, I paid $450 shipped for my 6 month old 3200Vig, so $375 shipped sounds good

As long as it came from a 4L60E based off the GenIII motors it will work. I believe GM went to a 33 spline input shaft then.
