its the whole carrier
the ring gear goes on it
a g80 is a posi made by eaton that gm uses
it works off of a centrifugal govenor that locks once the wheels start spinning and unlocks at about 20-30mph
black marks will look like this with a g80

i might sale a 10 inch precision power sub 300 watt 4 ohm. not sure if i want to sell it or install it in my wifes TB. i guess make offer and i'll see. (yes i know tech rules are to post prices)

damn i must have been sleeping. sorry fellas. i still have the 3.73 gears. if you install them alone you will not have posi traction. you need at least the g80.
