Default TCI StreetFighter 8"

I took this out of my truck because it was too loose for my taste and was only giving me 14mpg. Switched to my Circle D and Got 17mpg again.

Part number 242931 for a 4l60e. Flashed to about 3200 or so IIRC and would brake stall to about 2300. This has had the cap on it and been sitting on a table outside for probably 10 months or so with fluid in it. Therefore has some rust on the backside of it. I'd take a wire wheel to the center of it so it seats into the flywheel fine.

Locked fine when I ran it but will require some tuning to get it to feel right. When I put this in it gave me some in gear Idling issues which I hear is common with a smaller diameter converter. Just and FYI of some things I had to do.

Had apx 3k miles on it when I got it so I'm going to say it has about 8-10k miles on it now since I had it in for a few months and drive ~100/dy 5 days a week.

Goes for $600 new + shipping so I'm going to say $300 shipped OBO. I had a few offers on it back when I pulled it but wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with it.

not meaning to hurt your sale.. but make sure its not broke. i destroyed a tci street figther converter in my blue truck the first time i hit the nitrous.. i tuned, an switched things trying to figure out why i had no top end in thrid at all. come to find out the converter was letting go. swapped to PTC and everything was good.

What do they charge to check em?
I don't want to sell a bad unit but i don't wana waste money on it if I can't sell it. I had some problems back when I ran it but I had those same problems after swapping. Found out I keep blowing fluid out of my trans. Just finally took it's toll on the trans and trying to make some money to help cover the costs.

No worries. I don't like TCI Myself so that was another reason I pulled it. Heard too many bad things after I had already put it in. But i've had several people say they are fine with them.

lol. I'm not worried about selling it. If someone wants it here it is.
You can look up TCI's rep on this site. Some people won't touch em. Some people won't hesitate to use em.
If I don't sell it I know someone who would like to gut it and practice building as i recall.

Worked fine when I ran it.
