Just curious, why is it the wrong cam for your truck? I had a 222/224 in mine and I LOVED it.

the truck is an avalanche so i need all the help that i can get down low. with a smaller cam like a 220/220 or even lower, i would be better off the line. also i would like a "stock like" idle more than a lopey one

Did you install it? If you've got an adjustable timing set, 4 degree advance will help you out. I did that with mine. Off the line can be helped with a converter, too. It's always a give and take with cams. You can pickup torque down low at a loss of mid and upper range power. Just saying. And my cam on a 112 idled at 580 RPM. You'd never know that I'd modded it.

Clarify, please. Do you have the stall for sale or you installing it in the Avalanche? 3200 stall and that cam is a great combination.
