Truck for sale - $2500 cash - Houston
PRICE REDUCED! First $2500 cash takes it. I bought the new truck.
I'll be closing on my new house at the end of this month, so I'll finally be able to go purchase a new truck. I bought this current truck in March, just to drive back and forth to work (70 miles a day) and to haul parts around in.
Truck 1
Truck 2
Truck 3
Truck 4
Truck 5
I've done a few cosmetic/mechanical things to the truck since purchasing it.
-installed new rear bumper (old one was rusted away and bent)
-replaced all the broken dash vents inside
-Brand new water pump and hoses w/ 1 yr warranty
-newer rally style wheels and chrome rings
-repaired non-working tailgate handle
1994 Chevy Silverado 1/2-ton, long bed
4.3L V6
5-speed manual transmission
no power locks, no power windows
power steering
no A/C (truck was from Michigan originally)
rear sliding window (my A/C system)
everything works great, clutch grabs well, brakes work fine
171K miles
just passed rolling/sniff-emissions tests in March, runs very clean
it has been averaging over 21 mpg on the highway!
drives perfectly straight down the road, 85 mph no problem (highest speedo reads)
tires still in very good condition
paint still shiny
interior is VERY clean. Original seat cover is very, very clean
AM/FM digital stereo, factory unit
This truck would make an excellent secondary vehicle or parts chaser, and has been very well taken care of for its age. It was the cleanest truck I could find for less than $3K when I was shopping around Houston.

I rarely drive it in the city, as I live about 30 miles from work. It was rated at 17mpg city when new:
